The Project Manager has primary responsibility for managing the Planning and Execution efforts for a set of assigned projects.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
·Day to day project management, scope, cost and schedule management
·Status reporting, tracking the project schedule, budget and benefits
·Lead projects through the system development life cycle and successfully manage the projects from initiation to closure
·Assumes ownership of the project deliverables and results
The client is approaching the end of their systems implementation road map from a Finance perspective and several applications have gone live already. This position will lead enhancement and process improvement initiatives related to those financial systems. Looking for core financial system experience (i.e. AR, GL, budget/forecast) and experience with all related business functions and integrations. Experience leading ERP projects such as Peoplesoft Finance, Hyperion, SAP or Workday is highly desired. PMP certification is preferred as PMBOK methodology is closely followed. Candidate will engage with outside vendors and suppliers for any dev changes in Workday or Hyperion.
